Our Place is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to provide education, prevention, and intervention services, for individuals of all ages, families, organizations, and communities who are presently or potentially impacted by alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs of abuse.

Our place opened its doors in 1981 and officially incorporated in 1986. We continue to provide the region with an array of Programs and Services, which benefits youth, adults, and families.
Our offices are located in New Albany, Indiana and we directly serve Floyd, Clark, Harrison, Scott, and Washington counties.
Our Place is a Metro United Way agency and has been since 1994. We are proud to be affiliated with Metro United Way and grateful for their support of our programs. We are also grateful to other local funders that include Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, and Caesars Foundation of Floyd County. Our Place is also proud to be affiliated with the Better Business Bureau.
Our Place continues to strive to meet the needs of our community through the guidance of our Board of Directors and truly embraces the concept that "We can't do it alone but together we can do it all.
